RTI Cell
The Right to Information (RTI) Cell of the college is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and easy access to information in accordance with the Right to Information Act, 2005.
Objectives
- Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.
- Promote transparency and accountability in the functioning of the institution.
- Facilitate citizens in obtaining information related to the college.
- Maintain and disseminate information as required under the Act.
Functions
- Receive and process RTI applications submitted by citizens.
- Coordinate with various departments to collect the requested information.
- Provide information within the time limits prescribed under the RTI Act.
- Assist applicants in filing RTI requests and appeals, where applicable.
- Maintain records of RTI applications, replies, and appeals.
Information Available
- Institutional policies and regulations.
- Academic and administrative information.
- Financial and audit-related information (as permissible under the Act).
- Recruitment, admissions, examinations, and other statutory information.
- Mandatory disclosures under Section 4 of the RTI Act.
Public Information Officer (PIO)
The college has designated a Public Information Officer (PIO) and First Appellate Authority (FAA) to ensure the effective implementation of the RTI Act.
How to Apply
- Submit a written RTI application addressed to the Public Information Officer (PIO).
- Clearly specify the information sought.
